Mild Aircraft Manufacturers Association presents the LSA industry in the us

Founded in 1984, LAMA is a nonprofit country wide trade connection representing companies of mild aircraft, machines, avionics, parts/subassemblies, and suppliers and distributors to the light jet industry and community. LAMA was instrumental in the development of ultralight/light jet airworthiness and QA standards in the 80s and now. 20 years later, it is immersed in developing Lighting Sport Aeroplanes ASTM comprehensive agreement standards. The actual FAA released the game Pilot and Light Game Aircraft guideline in September 2005 spurring cheap recreational flying. Aircraft are now manufactured ready-to-fly and FAA-licensed for flight exercising, rental, and pleasure use. The actual FAA and the light jet industry expect that the Sport Pilot/Light Game Aircraft rule will result in the purchase of thousands of new aircraft and the creation of several newly certificated mild sport fliers. Additionally, it is expected that lots of currently licensed pilots will go back to flying, utilizing their state license in lieu of a FAA
